Please study the following list of Brazil's major geographic/topographic/regional features.

The pass/fail quiz, to be given at the end of class on will be given in class on Monday, September 8, 2008, will ask that you correctly locate ten items drawn from the list below. A blank map similar to the one on the reverse will be provided. Seven or more correct answers will be considered a passing grade. you will retake the quiz until you do pass.   Failure to pass the map quiz will mean that your final exam grade will automatically be dropped one letter grade.

Study Tip: For starters, look at the maps reproduced in the Viotti da Costa , Skidmore, and Dean readings. From there, try any of the print or digitized maps available via:
